Immunomodulation from motion?
I've been studying QiGong, which I consider a much simplified version of Tai Chi. A recent study published by Psychosomatic Medicine showed evidence of immunomodulation:
Fifteen weeks of tai chi chih practice may have helped a small group of older adults increase the levels of immune cells that help protect their body against the shingles virus, according to a new study.Thanks to Cory for the link.
