About Fees and Rates

Classes
Fees dependent on class size, purpose and organization. If you are interested in having me teach a class for your school, group or community please send me an email with the dates and any details. You can also call me at 928-634-6158. Please leave a message if you don't reach me.

Consultations
I offer my clients a few options:
  • Full Consultation - This takes usually an hour to an hour and a half. My office or your house, it's up to you. Most of this time is spent gaining a very comprehensive understanding of your current health status. Forms and charts are part of the routine, but the one-to-one conversations we have provide the most information. When we're done, I'll provide you a customized protocol of herbs, complete with traditional application and in-depth instructions on using the botanicals. (You don't have to buy the herbs from me. There are plenty of places you can get them from!)
       Fee: $65 for the initial visit. Includes a free follow-up.
  • Cyber Sessions - A great option to those who don't live near the Verde Valley. If you wish to purchase the herbs from me, I can drop ship!
       Fee: $65 again. This may take several emails back and forth...
  • Communal Intensive - Got a group of friends who are interested in seeing an herbalist, but aren't sure what to expect? Here's a great way to maximize everyone's time and save some cash in the process. Think "Tupperware" party, but with individualized herbal health care! I do a presentation to the group at large, have everyone fill out a multi-page questionnaire, then visit with each person privately for 15 minutes. No, it's not as in-depth as a full consultation, but it is a great way to get your feet wet!
       Fee: $25 per person with a four person minimum. Fully applicable to a full consultation in 60 days if you choose.


Walk and Talks
If you can't make it to my monthly free walk, or you've got a group that would like some individual attention, I'm happy to schedule custom walks just for you! Fees vary with the number of people and the length of the walk.

Research
Are you a healthcare professional that needs some specific information? Maybe you're a student needing some data on ethnobotany? Perhaps you're just an interested party and would like an expert in botanical medicine to provide you with reliable data.
   Fee: $45/hour. Travel and expenses extra if necessary.

Pro bono services
Yes, I do work for free... sometimes. Special needs and hardship cases, charity organizations, and public schools are all valid ways to get me and my services free of charge. Reduced rates also available depending on circumstances.
